What is the best part about coaching at DCG?

My favorite thing about coaching T&F is watching kids learn, grow and become leaders. I also love that as our season progresses, the weather gets nice and things seem to come to a natural conclusion at the state meet!

Favroite memory at DCG?

My favorite memory is probably the first two years I was the head coach…how we went from hoping to NOT finish last at meets to winning conference and the district meet for the 1st time in school history. Those kids will always have a special place in my heart.

Why do you coach at DCG?

Most rewarding thing about coaching has been the relationships I’ve developed with former students, parents and other staff.

Advice to young athletes

My advice to young athletes is to remember why we play sports in HS–TO HAVE FUN and be a part of a team with (hopefully) lifelong friends.
