Dallas Center-Grimes Theater Program

The DCG Theater Department works to bring a variety of productions to the Dallas Center-Grimes community.  Each year, the department has two productions: a fall show in early-November and a spring show that is performed in early May.  Casting is done through open auditions of any 9th through 12th grader interested in participating.  All technical elements including set, lighting, sound, makeup & hair, properties, front of house and more are all lead by students.  We even have a full student orchestra including direction.  What our audience sees on performance weekend is truly a student production.  We are proud of the quality our shows, and grateful for the support of the DCG school community that faithfully continues to fill the seats!
