We are excited to get the 2026 Spring Sports season rolling at DCG! Here’s a look at how you can follow your favorite team!
Girls Track: The first day of practice for track was February 23, and DCG jumped right back in! With their first indoor meet being March 10 at the UNI Dome, the girls were able to pick up right where they left off and perform. These girls are working hard for state at Drake Stadium, which is May 21-23. To see their full schedule, click here.
Boys Track: The first day for boys practice was also February 23, with their first indoor meet soon after at the UNI Dome on March 9. State will also be May 21-23 for the boys, and the Mustangs are ready to watch all the boys succeed this year! To see their full schedule, click here.
Girls Soccer: The girls are ready to begin their season following four consecutive state titles. Their first day of soccer practice starts on March 23, with their first game against Norwalk following soon after April 7. The state tournament will be June 8th – 13th, and the girls are ready to compete! To see their full schedule, click here.
Boys Soccer: The boys practice will start just a week earlier than the girls’ on March 16, with their first game of the season against Johnston on the 30th. The soccer team has been preparing for the season anxiously and aims for the goal of the state championship, which will be played June 1-5. To see their full schedule, click here.
Girls Golf: The golf team’s first practice day will be March 16, with their first meet on April 6. Regional meets will take place on May 15 and May 20, with the state tournament on May 28-29. The Mustangs are ready to cheer you on! To see their full schedule, click here.
Boys Tennis: The boys tennis team’s first practice will follow along with boys soccer and girls golf, and start on March 16. Their first official meet will be held on April 2 against Urbandale.
