The DCG Cross Country teams are heading back to the Iowa High School State Championships! The Mustangs qualified for state after an impressive performance at the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet in Council Bluffs on Wednesday, October 22.
State Qualifying Results – DCG Girls
- Piper Messerly won the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a time of 18:32.
- Tenley Heidgerken finished second in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a time of 18:50.
- Addison Dooley finished 8th place in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a time of 19:41.
- The DCG Girls won the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a team score of 37.
State Qualifying Results – DCG Boys
- Graham Ibeling finished third in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a time of 16:17.
- Noah Kerndt finished 8th in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a time of 16:34.
- Jack Meggison finished 9th in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a time of 16:40.
- The DCG Boys finished second as a team in the Class 4A State Qualifying Meet with a team score of 53.
Our Mustangs will run at the Iowa High School State Cross Country Championships on Saturday, November 1. The girls will run at 10:30. The boys will run at 11:15.
