DCG DECA Finishes Great Season at State

DCG DECA participated in the State DECA competition on Sunday, Feb. 26th, and Monday, Feb. 27th.  The competition consisted of each student taking a 100-question exam based on marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and finance concepts.   Students also chose one of 15 role-play events, read a case study, and presented their solutions to a judge.  The test scores are averaged with the role-play scores to determine the winners.  The students receive awards for the top test scores, role-play scores, and then overall placing.  Any student that places in the top 3 overall scores for each event qualifies for the International DECA in Orlando, FL.
