DCG DECA students delivered an outstanding performance at the State DECA Competition held on Sunday, February 15, and Monday, February 16. The event brought together top student leaders from across the state to compete in rigorous business and marketing challenges sponsored by DECA.
Participants completed a comprehensive 100-question exam assessing knowledge in marketing, management, entrepreneurship, and finance. In addition, each student selected one of 15 role-play events, analyzed a real-world case study, and presented strategic solutions to a judge.
Final rankings were determined by averaging exam and role-play scores. Awards were presented for top exam scores, exceptional role-play performances, and overall placement within each event.
DCG DECA achieved significant success, earning 16 Top-10 State Finalist finishes and celebrating four State Champions:
- Raquel Gao – Restaurant & Food Service Management
- Ethan McConnell – Sports & Entertainment Marketing
