Cooperative sharing agreements allow for schools in Iowa to share athletic programs. This can help schools that don’t offer a particular sport provide opportunities for their students.
How do Cooperative Sharing agreements work?
– Schools in a cooperative sharing agreement must share attendance boundaries.
– A school can only have one cooperative sharing agreement for a given sport.
– The Board of Education of each school must agree to the agreement.
– The IHSAA/IGHSAU has to be notified and approve the agreement.
If you are interested in being a part of one of these programs please reach out to Madison Melchert or Adam Juhl in the Activities office – madison.melchert@dcgschools.com and adam.juhl@dcgschools.com
All physical information as well as registration will occur through Dallas Center Grimes Activities.
Please note that Dallas Center-Grimes CSD does not offer transportation to and from Johnston CSD for practice/competitions.
